1. Who developed the Internet?


The first developers of internet were the ARPA of the USA defense department .They created the first network to ever exist , known as ARPANET.
 In 1973, the U.S.  DARPA carried on with the research and improved the technology. The new system allowed for internetting ,and thus, the Internet was created.



2. Why was the Internet developed?


The main objetive was to use it  as a system for communication. ARPA consisted of a non-centralized network . This model was the first  to be able to withstand a nuclear attack so communications wouldn't be lost.

Nowadays the internet has been improving ,making better the communication  and easier the file sharing .


4. Who created the email address format?


 Was created by Ray Tomlinson, a Cambridge computer engineer.  




7. When was the public allowed to use the Wide World Web?


The World Wide Web became available for public use for the first time on 6th August 1992.


8. Who is Tim Berners-Lee? Tell me a little about him. 


Tim Berners-Leewas born in London ,is known as the father of the Internet.He is  the director of the World Wide Web Consortium ( which developed the World Wide Web).He is a physics graduate from the Oxford University  in 1976. He along with Vinton Cerf ( who is considered the other father of the Internet)he created the HTML code .The creation of this resource is attributed to Tim Berners-Lee since he was the primary author of the HTML.His most important  creations were developed  between 1989 and 1991, the URLS and the  HTTP.Combined with the HTML code, these would set the technical standards for a website and the Internet.
